Saracens
. We know that the Saracens, as they were called Muslims, after its expansion in the seventh century, they began to act
as pirates in several regions of southern Italy, cutting roads and
routes of traders and
Pilgrims on the shaft Italy / Gaul and holding them ransom. Saracens and the Slavs,
though less dangerous, contributed to the dissemination of climate
uncertainty in the period.
